Highway Striping Technician

About this position

The Equipment Shop Mechanic oversees maintenance and repair operations at our Little Rock fleet facility, specializing in both gasoline and diesel engine systems. This position leads shop operations while maintaining our truck fleet and specialized striping equipment throughoutCentral Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities

·      Perform diagnostic testing, repairs, and maintenance on gasoline and diesel engine systems
·      Manage comprehensive maintenance of truck fleet and specialized striping equipment
·      Oversee shop facility operations and maintain organizational standards
·      Supervise and direct shop maintenance staff
·      Execute preventive maintenance programs for all fleet vehicles
·      Maintain detailed service records and maintenance documentation
·      Coordinate with field operations to optimize equipment availability
·      Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards

Job Requirements

·      Proven experience with gasoline and diesel engine repair and maintenance
·      Assignment to company-maintained facility in Baton Rouge area
·      Flexible 40-60 hour weekly schedule based on seasonal demands
·      Weekend availability for Saturday operations as needed
·      Valid Louisiana driver's license
·      CDL(Commercial Driver's License) preferred
·      Personal tools preferred
·      Strong leadership and team management skills
